 Framed Cecropia

I use the same mounting kit that is shown for sale on the products page to prepare a moth for framing.
Most of the time, I frame male cecropias. There are times when I frame a female cecropia. If a female cecropia has not mated in one of the first 2 nights after emerging from her cocoon, she cannot mate and lays infertile eggs. If this has happened, I will sometimes perpare a female for framing. Male cecropias will mate once each night for as many nights as they can (females mate only once). Most often I frame males who have mated at least once.
